Dan Mullen won’t be watching the national championship game from the comforts of his couch in Starkville or even live in Dallas tonight.

Instead the Mississippi State head coach will be in Bristol, Conn., at ESPN headquarters breaking down the game live in studio along with Nebraska coach Mike Riley, Pittsburgh coach Pat Narduzzi and ESPN analysts Chris Spielman and Tom Lugenbill.

It is part of the network’s megacast coverage of the Ohio State-Oregon game. Mullen will be featured live on ESPN2 throughout the contest, which kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
