Mississippi State’s Dillon Day will join offensive line teammate Ben Beckwith in the East-West Shine Game Saturday at 3 p.m. in St. Petersburg, Fla., on the NFL Network.

But Day’s collegiate career will not end there as the center was a late addition to the Senior Bowl roster where he will join fellow Bulldogs Kaleb Eulls and Preston Smith. The Senior Bowl will be played on Jan. 24 at 3 p.m. on the NFL Network. It is the most players MSU has sent to the Senior Bowl since 2011.

Day, a 6-foot-4, 299-pounder from West Monroe, La., was a four-year starter for the Bulldogs and served as a co-captain this past season.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
