Live from the Hump

I haven’t done live updates during the game in a while because I’ve been writing other projects so we’ll get this back started today. Mississippi State will look to snap a 16-game SEC losing skid today taking on Vanderbilt. It’s alumni weekend and there will be a lot of former Bulldog players and coaches on hand today. MSU is wearing white throwback uniforms for this one. I really like them because they’re simple. Remember that today’s game is televised by Fox Sports Net.

Former Bulldog Tyson Cunningham sang the national anthem. Did a good job as always. He’s from Columbus like me.

Ready did the opening tip against Kornet.

Final stats

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
