Blaine Clausell became the 11th Mississippi State senior to be invited to a postseason all-star game.

Clausell was added to Senior Bowl on Wednesday joining teammates Dillon Day, Kaleb Eulls and Preston Smith on the South Roster.

The Senior Bowl will be played Saturday at 3 p.m. in Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Clausell’s hometown of Mobile, Ala. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.

The 6-foot-7, 315-pounder played in 49 games as a Bulldog, earning 38 starts at left tackle after inheriting the position after the graduation of Derek Sherrod.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
