Diamond Dogs begin practice today

Mississippi State’s road to Omaha starts today as the Bulldogs conduct their first practice of the spring at 3:45 p.m.

The Diamond Dogs will also practice at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. All practices are free and open to the public.

John Cohen‘s club returns 16 lettermen, five starters and nine pitchers from last year’s squad that went 39-24 and advanced to an NCAA Regional.

MSU will have 14 newcomers join the team this spring and open the season Feb. 13 at home against Cincinnati.
