A familiar name is back in the fold for Mississippi State.

Three-star defensive tackle T.D. Moton committed to the Bulldogs for a second time during the recruiting process. The 6-foot-2, 310-pounder from Woodlawn, La., tweeted Monday “Got off the Phone with Coach Dan Mullen I will be signing to Mississippi State Feb. 4 Thank everyone for everything. #HailState #Dawgs”

Moton originally pledged to MSU on Nov. 16, 2013 and stayed committed until the following January. He committed to Alabama in June only to part ways last week following an official visit to Starkville.

Moton is State’s 28th commitment. He is rated the No. 28 defensive tackle in the nation and 22nd prospect in Louisiana by 247Sports.com.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
