Mississippi State added the ninth member of its 2016 class on Saturday as three-star cornerback C.J. Morgan-Walker committed while visiting for junior day.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pounder from Bossier City, La., chose the Bulldogs over offers from California, Houston, Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Lafayette, Nebraska, San Diego State, Southern Miss and UCLA.
Morgan-Walker is considered the No. 32 cornerback nationally and the 21st overall recruit in Louisiana by 247Sports.com. He is the fourth defensive back pledge for MSU in 2016 joining Lashard Durr, Quincy Lenton and Zaire Jones.
The Bulldogs did lose the commitment of three-star linebacker Darrien McNair over the weekend. The 6-foot-2, 219-pounder from Ocala, Fla., reopened his recruitment after being committed since December 2013.
McNair also holds offers from Florida, Kentucky and Louisville.
