There’s not too many things that will drag me out of bed this early. One of those reasons is national signing day. Today we celebrate the fax machine as national letters of intent begin to roll in for Mississippi State’s 2015 signing class. With my background with, I can pledge for what a huge day this is for so many people. Dan Mullen is poised to sign his highest ranked class yet with the Bulldogs. MSU entered today at No. 17 on both Rivals and 247Sports, which are the only two sites I’m conditioned to pay attention to.

There are six players who already enrolled last month. Those prospects are Copiah-Lincoln Community College four-star wide receiver Donald Gray, Gulf Coast Community College four-star offensive tackle Martinas Rankin, Murrah four-star athlete Malik Dear, Memphis, Tenn., three-star athlete Deddrick Thomas, Copiah-Lincoln Community College three-star defensive end Johnathan Calvin and Ripley three-star offensive tackle Michael Story.

Tupelo three-star safety Jarvis Wilson flipped his commitment and enrolled at Georgia in January.

Oak Grove four-star athlete Cameron Myers enrolled at Gulf  Coast Community College in January.

Callaway four-star offensive tackle Tommy Champion enrolled at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in January.

Mesquite, Texas three-star quarterback Chason Virgil signed and enrolled at Fresno State in January.

Former MSU commitment, Bruce three-star wide receiver Jay Johnson, signed and enrolled at East Mississippi Community College in January.

6:34 a.m. And with that, the day’s first LOI is in. It’s three-star offensive tackle Harrison Moon of Signal Mountain, Tenn.

6:37 a.m. Chattanooga, Tenn., three-star quarterback Nick Tiano tweets that he has signed with the Bulldogs as well.

6:55 a.m. MSU confirms Tiano as a signee.

7:12 a.m. Moon tweets that he will enroll in June.

7:30 a.m. Nixa, Mo., three-star running back Alec Murphy has signed.

7:33 a.m. Yazoo City three-star linebacker Timothy Washington has signed.

7:39 a.m. Pinson, Ala., three-star defensive end Kendell Jones has signed.

Lots of buzz this morning about Brookhaven four-star linebacker Leo Lewis signing with MSU. Lewis is expected to announce at 10:30 a.m.

7:49 a.m. Bay Springs three-star athlete Jonnas Spivey has signed.

7:54 a.m. Former MSU commitment, Walnut four-star safety Armani Linton, has signed with Ole Miss.

7:55 a.m. Minor, Ala., three-star cornerback Maurice Smitherman has signed.

7:59 a.m. Aliceville, Ala., three-star defensive end Anfernee Mullins has signed.

8:03 a.m. Warren Central three-star cornerback Chris Stamps has signed.

8:05 a.m. Wesson three-star tight end Farrod Green has signed.

8:08 a.m. Birmingham, Ala., three-star running back Keith Mixon has signed.

8:11 a.m. Brandon four-star defensive end Fletcher Adams has signed.

8:19 a.m. Collins three-star safety Mark McLaurin has signed.

8:31 a.m. Pinson Valley, Ala., four-star running back Nick Gibson has signed.

8:32 a.m. Hoover, Ala., three-star wide receiver Justin Johnson has signed.

8:35 a.m. Louisville three-star wide receiver Dontea Jones has signed.

8:36 a.m. Pascagoula three-star defensive end Keith Joseph has signed.

8:54 a.m. Bessemer, Ala., three-star center Darryl Williams has signed.

8:59 a.m. Holmes Community College three-star linebacker Traver Jung has signed.

9:43 a.m. MSU three-star defensive tackle target Courtney Miggins from Pearl River Community College signed with Kentucky.

Shreveport, La., three-star defensive tackle T.D. Moton and Bassfield four-star safety Jamal Peters are the lone two Bulldog commitments who have yet to sign. Peters is expected to have his signing day ceremony at 10 a.m.

10:11 a.m. According to Twitter, Peters has signed with MSU.

10:15 a.m. MSU has confirmed Peters’ LOI.

10:26 a.m. Moton has signed.

10:31 a.m. Lewis has committed to Mississippi State.

Lewis brings MSU’s class up to 28 members and sits 17th nationally.

Former 2013 MSU commitment, Butler (Kan.) three-star defensive end Ulric Jones signed with South Carolina.

11:07 a.m. MSU confirms that Lewis has signed.

Mullen says on a Vine that Lewis’ LOI  was the last one.

Mullen will hold a press conference at 3 p.m.

Former MSU commitment, Lilburn, Ga., three-star offensive guard Trey Derouen, has signed with South Carolina.

Former MSU cornerback Xavier Grindle has signed with North Texas.

Former MSU commitment, Milledgeville, Ga., three-star running back Kentavious Thomas, appears the be headed to Georgia Military College.

1:15 p.m. Lewis double signed with Copiah-Lincoln Community College

1:18 p.m. Peters also double signed with Gulf Coast Community College.

Former MSU defensive tackle  Jordan Washington signed with Bethune-Cookman out of Mississippi Delta Community College.
