Mississippi State will kick start its 125th baseball season with its first ever Fan Day starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday inside the Palmeiro Center.

Coach John Cohen and the Diamond Dogs will be available for photos and autographs. Former players Ben Bracewell, Adam Frazier, Evan Mitchell, Daryl Norris, Brett Pirtle and Brandon Woodruff will also be on hand.

There will also be inflatables for children and appearances by the Diamond Girls and mascots Champ and Bully. Fans can also tour the Hall of Champions.

Beginning at 12:30 p.m. there will be a free exhibition game held at Dudy Noble Field.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
