Mississippi State has once again found itself listed in a preseason college baseball poll.

The Diamond Dogs were ranked 22nd by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association this week and were ranked by five of the six college baseball polls.

John Cohen‘s club was also ranked 14th by Baseball America, 20th by Collegiate Baseball, 23rd by Perfect Game and 25th in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll. MSU was not ranked by D1Baseball.com.

The Bulldogs were one of nine Southeastern Conference programs listed on the NCBWA top 35. Defending national champion Vanderbilt comes in at No. 1 followed by LSU (4), Florida (5), South Carolina (11), Ole Miss (19), Texas A&M (25), Alabama (28) and Tennessee (29).

Arkansas and Kentucky also received votes.
