Due to chilly temperatures expected for opening weekend, Mississippi State has modified its weekend schedule.

Game times for Friday and Saturday have been bumped up to noon and 4 p.m.

Game 1 of the weekend round robin will now begin at 12 p.m. between Miami (Ohio) and Cincinnati with the Diamond Dogs taking on the Bearcats in the nightcap at 4 p.m.

MSU will also play the Redhawks at noon Saturday and Cincinnati again at 4 p.m.

Sunday’s lone contest will pit the Bulldogs against the Bearcats once more at 1:30 p.m. to conclude the weekend.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
