In honor of Ernie Banks “Let’s play two”. Mississippi State will host a doubleheader today with Game 1 against Miami (Ohio) and the nightcap against Cincinnati. The Diamond Dogs topped the Bearcats 6-2 last night. It’s a great afternoon here in Starkville so there should be a nice crowd if everyone isn’t out celebrating Valentine’s Day.

The Bulldogs are debuting new throwback uniforms with maroon hats with white bills, white jerseys with a maroon stripe down the buttons and the interlocking “MS” logo and white pants with maroon pockets. Miami is clad in red hats, red jerseys and grey pants.
