Weather will force No. 22 Mississippi State to amend its weekend plans for the third straight week.

The Diamond Dogs bumped up the start times for the Friday and Saturday games of their round-robin series with Arizona and Samford at Dudy Noble Field.

The visiting teams will play at noon Friday before MSU meets Arizona at 4 p.m. Saturday’s doubleheader will see the State and Wildcats meet again at 11 a.m. on the SEC Network followed by Mississippi State and Samford 35 minutes following the conclusion of Game 1.

Sunday’s schedule has not changed with Arizona meeting Samford at 1 p.m. and another battle of the Bulldogs at 4 p.m.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
