Mississippi State has bumped the start of spring football practice up a day due to the threat of inclement weather.

The Bulldogs will now begin their spring workouts Tuesday at 3:20 p.m. and will practice again Friday at the same time to conclude the opening week. All spring practices will be open to the public.

Dan Mullen‘s squad is coming off a 10-3 season and an Orange Bowl appearance. MSU also had a five-week stint at No. 1 and was the first ever team atop the College Football Playoff standings.

The Bulldogs will hold their annual spring game on April 18 at 11 a.m.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
