The White team prevailed 28-24 over their Maroon counterparts on Saturday in Mississippi State’s annual spring game. Quarterbacks Nick Fitzgerald and Dak Prescott accounted for three touchdowns apiece. It was a surprise touchdown grab by Anthony Dixon and a game-saving interception by Kelan Chairs at the goal line in the waning moments that made the difference for the White.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
