Mississippi State freshman wide receiver Deshun Dixon was arrested for driving under the influence early Sunday morning.
Dixon was taken into custody at 1:40 a.m. and released at 2:45 a.m. from the Oktibbeha County Jail.
The 6-foot, 190-pounder is the younger brother of former MSU and current Buffalo Bills running back Anthony Dixon and MSU sophomore tight end Rashun Dixon.
Deshun Dixon, 23, walked onto the Bulldogs football team this spring after spending three years playing in the Tampa Bay Rays organization after being drafted in the 10th round of the 2010 MLB Draft.
The Terry native hit .206 with seven home runs and 37 RBIs during his minor league career from 2010-12.
Mississippi State had no comment on his arrest.
