Meridian three-star safety Quincy Lenton has decided to reopen his recruitment.
The 6-foot, 190-pounder had been committed to Mississippi State since Nov. 1. Lenton also holds offers from Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana-Monroe, Louisiana Tech, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt.
Lenton announced his decision via Twitter stating “I would like to thank MSU but I have decided to decommit and rethink my decision.”
Lenton is rated the No. 26 safety nationally and the 18th ranked prospect in Mississippi by 247Sports.com.
Lenton’s teammate, Zaire Jones, remains committed to the Bulldogs.
