Gray Fenter became the second Mississippi State commitment selected in the 2015 MLB Draft.

Fenter, a right-handed pitcher from West Memphis, Ark., was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the seventh round (223rd overall).

Fenter’s draft slot holds a value of $178,300 and has until July 15 to sign with the Orioles.

The Bulldogs flipped the 6-foot, 190-pounder from a commitment to Ole Miss. Fenter played for Team USA and was a second team All-American by Perfect Game.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
