Mississippi State picked up its third commitment of Big Dawg Camp on Friday night in defensive end Tre Brown. Brown is also the third player from Copiah-Lincoln Community College to pledge his services to the Bulldogs in 2016.

Brown will join juco teammates Lashard Durr, Deshon Cooper and Tommy Champion in Starkville and has two former Co-Lin teammates – Donald Gray and Johnathan Calvin – that will suit up for the Bulldogs this fall.

The 6-foot-4, 270-pounder is originally from Ackerman and Choctaw County High School made 22 tackles including two for loss during his freshman year for the Wolfpack.

MSU now has 15 commitments for 2016 – five of which are from Mississippi junior colleges.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
