Ben Howland has added another top recruit to his 2016 class at Mississippi State.

Four-star shooting guard Eli Wright committed to the Bulldogs while on an official visit to Starkville. Wright also owns 14 other offers including SEC programs Florida, Alabama and Tennessee.

The 6-foot-4, 170-pounder announced his decision via Twitter “Can’t say how blessed I am to have been recruited by so many great schools but happy to say that I have committed to MSU”.

Wright is rated the 20th best shooting guard nationally and the No. 2 prospect from Kentucky according to 247Sports.com. Wright will attend IMG (Fla.) Academy for his senior year.

Howland now has two four-star guards committed with MSU’s class rated 18th nationally.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
