Mississippi State will make its television debut under Ben Howland Dec. 16 at 8 p.m. on ESPN2 taking on Florida State in Tallahassee.

The non-conference match-up will be the Bulldogs ninth game of the 2015-16 season.

It will be the 10th time MSU and the Seminoles have met on the hardwood. The Bulldogs lead the series 5-4 and have claimed the last two contests. Mississippi State won 62-55 in Starkville last season behind 14 points from I.J. Ready.

The Bulldogs have a home exhibition game against Fort Valley State on Nov. 6 and officially tips off the Howland era against Eastern Washington on Nov. 13 at Humphrey Coliseum.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
