Mississippi State is getting accustomed to playing under the stars this season.

The Bulldogs will play their fourth night game in the first five weeks as their showdown at Texas A&M on Oct. 3 has been slated for a 6:30 p.m. start.

The game will air on The SEC Network.

MSU evened the series against the Aggies 4-4 with a 48-31 victory in Starkville last year. The series is also tied 1-1 in College Station.

The Bulldogs reentered the top 25 in both the Associated Press and Amway Coaches’ polls released on Sunday. State was ranked 21st by the AP and were picked 22nd by the coaches.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
