Mississippi State’s home date with Kentucky on Oct. 24 has been slated for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff on the SEC Network.

It is the Bulldogs’ fifth contest to start 6:30 p.m. or later during the first eight weeks of the season.

The series between MSU and Kentucky is tied at 21 wins apiece. The Bulldogs have claimed the last six meetings including last year’s contest 45-31 in Lexington.

State holds an 11-6 advantage in games played in Starkville.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
