It’s a busy Saturday around Mississippi State’s campus as the 20th-ranked Bulldogs prepare to host No. 3 Alabama at 2:30 p.m. on CBS. The grounds crew have painted the initials of Keith Joseph Jr. at both the 25-yard lines on the field. All players will wear the same emblem on their helmets. Additionally, freshman safety Jamal Peters will wear Joseph’s No. 99 in today’s game. It should be a good one so stay tuned for updates. I’ll be here for the duration.

Both teams’ specialists are out on the field starting to get loose.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
