Longtime Mississippi State pledge Dee Nalls has reopened his recruitment.

The three-star offensive guard had been committed to the Bulldogs since July 18, 2014 but announced his decision via Twitter Sunday night.

“First of all, I would like to say thank all of Mississippi State: coaches, players and fans for following me and supporting me on my decision to be apart of the DAWG family, but after much consideration and prayer, I’ve decided to decommit from Mississippi State University,” Nalls tweeted. “This decision I have made based on what I think is best for me and my family. Once again thank you to the Mississippi state family. I wish for success in the future for State and also myself.”

Nalls also holds offers from Indiana, Louisville, Memphis, Southern Miss and Troy.

The 6-foot-3, 290-pounder helped lead Fayette County to the Alabama Class 4A state championship game this past weekend.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
