The Belk Bowl will not be Dak Prescott‘s final collegiate game.

The Mississippi State quarterback has accepted an invitation to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl on Jan. 30. The game kicks off at 1:30 p.m. from Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala., and will be televised on the NFL Network.

Prescott broke 38 school records during his time in Starkville. During his career he has completed 62.9 percent of his passes for 8,996 yards, 66 touchdowns and 22 interceptions, 2,474 rushing yards and 41 touchdowns. The Haugton, La., native also caught four passes for 88 yards and three more scores.

Prescott is the 88th Bulldog and 13th under Dan Mullen to be invited to the Senior Bowl. Dillon Day, Kaleb Eulls and Preston Smith were picked last year.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
