Humphrey Coliseum

Humphrey Coliseum

I’ve arrived on press row for tonight’s SEC opener against No. 21 Texas A&M. Mississippi State is scheduled to honor former head coach Rick Stansbury 12-minutes before tip. It will be Stansbury’s first time back at Humphrey Coliseum since he “retired”. Tonight’s game will be televised on the SEC Network. Freshman forward Joe Strugg is still sporting a walking boot on his right foot during warm-ups and isn’t dressed out. I’d imagine a redshirt is in his future.

I will be updating throughout the game so stay tuned…

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
