Bud Walton Arena

Welcome from Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville where it’s even colder than it was for the football game. There’s snow flurries falling and Mississippi State is currently on the court warming up along with Arkansas. My hotel was right down the street so this might’ve been the easier commute I’ve had to a game, even closer than the mile and a half I live from the Hump. Remember that today’s game will be televised on SEC Network. MSU is warming up in black shorts so I suppose it’ll be in black unis today.

Anyways, I’ll be here for the duration so stay tuned for updates.

The speakers in here really have some bass. I guess that helps with the live DJ that’s spinning right now.

Lots of Arkansas fans coming up to greet former coach John Pelphrey. He’s on TV commentary today.

Looks like Craig Sword will be rocking goggles for the second straight game.

Official statistics

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
