Mississippi State currently has 15 committed in its 2016 class. A third of those prospects are already on campus as five pledges have enrolled in classes for the spring semester.

Juco transfers Lashard Durr and Tre Brown, prep school addition Dontea Jones and early high school graduates C.J. Morgan-Walker and Christian Roberson have all been admitted and will participate in spring practices for the Bulldogs.

Durr and Morgan-Walker are cornerbacks, Jones and Roberson are tight ends while Brown is a defensive tackle. All were rated three-star recruits.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
