Mississippi State’s Victoria Vivians was one of 16 players selected to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Player of the Year midseason watch list on Monday.

The sophomore guard from Carthage is one of four players from the Southeastern Conference on the list along with Tennessee’s Diamond DeShields and South Carolina’s A’ja Wilson and Tiffany Mitchell.

Vivians leads the SEC in scoring at 17.7 per game and is ninth in steals averaging two. She also ranks in the top 15 in conference play with 6.9 rebounds.

Vivians is also on the midseason watch list for the Wooden Award.

The Ann Meyers Drysdale Award will be presented on April 11. UConn’s Breanna Stewart won the honor last year.
