As signing day draws closer, Mississippi State added another key piece to its class with the addition of offensive guard Stewart Reese.

The 6-foot-5, 340-pounder from Fort Pierce, Florida chose the Bulldogs over 35 other scholarships including SEC offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss and South Carolina.

Reese, a three-star recruit, is rated the No. 19 offensive guard in the country and the 57th best prospect from the Sunshine State by 247Sports.com.

Reese is the third offensive lineman to commit to MSU joining Greg Eiland and Dareuan Parker.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
