Mississippi State will send a school-record six players to the NFL Combine in Indianapolis later this month.
Quarterback Dak Prescott, wide receiver De’Runnya Wilson, defensive tackle Chris Jones, linebacker Beniquez Brown and cornerbacks Taveze Calhoun and Will Redmond will all participate in the week long event held Feb. 23-29.
Prescott and Wilson’s on field workout is slated for Feb. 27. Jones and Brown will go the following day and Calhoun and Redmond will conclude workouts on Feb. 29.
CBS Sports rates Prescott the No. 6 quarterback prospect, Redmond as the No. 8 cornerback, Jones the No. 10 defensive tackle, Wilson the No. 13 wide receiver, Brown the No. 31 linebacker and Calhoun the No. 35 corner.
The Bulldogs sent four players to the combine last year – Josh Robinson, Preston Smith, Benardrick McKinney and Justin Cox.
MSU will hold its on campus pro day on March 10.
