The Bulldogs were picked to finish fourth in the SEC standings by the league’s coaches on Thursday and received one first place vote.

MSU ended the 2015 campaign in last place with an 8-22 mark in conference play and 24-30 overall.

Texas A&M garnered eight first place votes and is predicted to win the Western Division while Florida drew 13 first place votes and is picked to win the East and the league outright.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
