Live from Dudy Noble Field

Dudy Noble Field

Dudy Noble Field

It’s a beautiful opening day here at Dudy Noble Field as Mississippi State gets set to take on Florida Atlantic. The Owls defeated South Dakota State 11-5 in the opening game here. The ball is really flying out of here during batting practice for the Diamond Dogs. MSU is wearing maroon hats, maroon “ms” jerseys and white pants. FAU is clad in navy hats with red bills, navy jerseys and grey pants.

I’ll be updating every half inning so stay tuned. I won’t be here for the doubleheader tomorrow as I’ll be in Tuscaloosa covering the men’s basketball team but I’ll be back Sunday for the finale against the Jackrabbits.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
