I made it to Nashville through a thunderstorm and what seemed to be never-ending taillights for this year’s SEC Men’s Basketball Tournament. No. 11 seed Mississippi State will take on sixth-seeded Georgia as soon as the Ole Miss-Alabama game ends. The Crimson Tide currently lead 54-48 with 14:00 minutes left. The battle of the Bulldogs is slated to start at approximately 8:30 p.m. on SEC Network. I’d like to thank Paul Jones of Bulldawgs247.com for filling in on my behalf at MSU’s pro day this morning while I was traveling.

I’ll be here for the duration of State’s stay in Nashville so stay tuned for updates…

Official statistics, notes, postgame press conference transcript

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
