Former Mississippi State and Houston standout Chris Jones is one of 25 players that has confirmed an invitation to attend the NFL Draft in Chicago later this month.
This year’s NFL Draft will take place at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University from April 28-30.
Jones is the second Bulldog in as many years to receive an invite to the draft joining Benardrick McKinney, who was selected in the second round by the Houston Texans last year.
Jones is rated the No. 10 defensive tackle in the draft by CBS Sports, which projects the 6-foot-6, 310-pounder to go in the second or third round. Some mock drafts have Jones being selected in the mid-first round.
