No. 2 Mississippi State will try to avoid being swept by sixth-ranked Texas A&M. It’s a beautiful spring day here in Starkville with no football on the horizon. The Bulldogs are wearing maroon hats, maroon “MS” jerseys and white pants while the Aggies are clad in maroon hats, black jerseys and white pants. It’s military appreciation day so there’s a pregame ceremony complete with a flyover.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
