Double Coverage

double coverageOn this week’s episode, Parrish Alford and Logan Lowery talk about what transpired during the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday night. Parrish is in Chicago to cover the draft, and he and Logan talk at length about the biggest story of the night – the saga involving Ole Miss offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil (3:10). They also talk about Tunsil’s comments on receiving money from Ole Miss coaches and how that could impact the NCAA’s investigation into the university (9:57). In addition to Tunsil, Ole Miss players Robert Nkemdiche and Laquon Treadwell were drafted on Thursday, and Mississippi State’s Chris Jones (17:54) is expected to be picked early in the second round.

Finally, Parrish and Logan look at Mississippi State’s baseball series against Alabama (22:14) and Ole Miss’s series with LSU (27:37).

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
