Mississippi State has added Columbus four-star running back Kylin Hill to the fold.
Hill announced his decision via Twitter on Wednesday stating “It was a tough decision, but with the help of a couple close friends & peers I’ve finally decided to make my commitment. Even tho I will be committing to a team I will allow other teams even the teams that’s already offered me to continue recruiting me, cause signing day is a long way from now and you never know what might happen. Without God in my life this moment wouldn’t be possible. I am verbally committed to the university of MISSISSIPPI STATE. GO BULLDOGS”.
The 5-foot-11, 207-pounder is rated the seventh-best running back in the country and the No. 3 prospect in Mississippi for 2017. Hill chose the Bulldogs over offers from Memphis, Missouri, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Southern Miss, Tennessee and UAB.
Hill carried 201 times for 1,750 yards and 18 touchdowns for the Falcons last fall while also catching 21 passes for 336 yards and three more scores and returning two kickoffs for touchdowns.
Hill’s pledge pushes MSU’s class to 14 members and ninth nationally in the 247Sports.com team rankings.
