Two Mississippi State players were picked by Baseball America as All-Americans on Tuesday.
Junior pitcher Dakota Hudson was selected to the second team while freshman outfielder Jake Mangum earned a spot on the third team.
Hudson, a 6-foot-5 right-hander from Dunlap, Tennessee, is 9-4 with a 2.62 ERA, 109 strikeouts and 34 walks spanning 16 starts this season.
Mangum leads the SEC with a .418 batting average and has 82 hits, 11 doubles, three triples, one home run, 27 RBIs and six stolen bases. The Pearl native also claimed the Ferriss Trophy and was named SEC Freshman of the Year.
Hudson and Mangum are the first Bulldogs to be tabbed an All-American by Baseball America since Jacob Lindgren in 2014.
