The third member of John Cohen‘s signing class had their name called on Saturday.

Mississippi State pitching pledge Douglas Ashcraft was drafted in the 12th round (371st overall) by the Los Angeles Dodgers joining Walker Robbins and Colin Holderman as Bulldog signees to be selected.

Ashcraft is a 6-foot-2, 208-pound right-hander from Huntsville (Alabama) High School where he was a Perfect Game second team All-American.

Ashcraft will have until July 15 to agree to terms with the Dodgers or choose to come to college.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
