Mississippi State four-star center Abdul Ado has been admitted into the university but has yet to be granted full eligibility by the NCAA Clearninghouse.

The 6-foot-11, 235-pounder started classes on Friday but will not be permitted to practice with the team until he is cleared. He is however is allowed to have eight hours of skill and conditioning training per week.

Ado is a native of Nigeria and has spent the last two years in the United States at Hamilton Heights Christian Academy in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The rest of Ben Howland‘s No. 9 signing class has already been cleared and is on campus.

I have covered Mississippi State in some capacity since 2004 and joined the Daily Journal staff in 2013. I enjoy short walks on the beach, performing concerts in my car and watching professional wrestling.
