The Brookhaven native is in his fourth season in the Big Leagues and first with the Rays. Dickerson went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the Red Sox on Saturday.

Info: Adam Frazier was a three-year starter at MSU and led the Diamond Dogs to the College World Series championship series setting the school single-season record with 107 hits as a junior. Frazier was selected in the sixth round (179th overall) of the 2013 MLB Draft by Pittsburgh. He went 1-for-4 with a single, a walk and a run scored against the Cubs on Wednesday.

Info: Kendall Graveman was the ace of MSU’s pitching staff that advanced to the College World Series championship series in 2013. Graveman was picked in the eighth round (235th overall) by the Blue Jays and made his MLB debut in 2014. He took a no-decision after allowing one run on seven hits and one walk with six strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings against the Mariners on Thursday.

Info: Speedster Billy Hamilton signed to play wide receiver for the Bulldogs in 2009 and was expected to suit up for the Diamond Dogs as well. But the former Taylorsville standout was selected in the second round of the 2009 MLB Draft and set the Minor League single-season record with 155 steals three years later. Hamilton is currently on the disabled list with a strained left oblique.

Info: Jonathan Holder holds the MSU all-time saves record closing out 37 games during his Bulldog career. He is also the school’s single-season saves leader with 21 in 2013. The Gulfport native was selected in the sixth round (182nd overall) in 2014 by the Yankees. Holder went 7-6 with a 2.52 ERA, 90 strikeouts and 25 walks in 118 innings in his second season in the minors last year. He pitched 2/3 of an inning without allowing a run on one hit and a strikeout against the Red Sox on Wednesday.

Maloney moved to the third base box after Jose Oquendo took a medical leave of absence.

He is the only closer in MLB history to record 100 saves in both the American and National League. Papelbon was released by the Washington Nationals in August.

Renfroe was selected as the 13th overall pick in the 2013 MLB Draft by the Padres. The Crystal Springs native was called up for the first time on Sept. 21. He went 2-for-4 with two home runs and seven RBIs against the Dodgers on Tuesday.

He was a member of MSU’s famed 1985 College World Series squad.

The former All-American helped the Diamond Dogs reach the College World Series in 2007. Easley made his MLB debut last season with the St. Louis Cardinals but was released by the Indianapolis Indians on June 30.

He hit .309 with two homers and 29 RBI in his second season in the minors last year and is currently on the disabled list.

Info: Brett Pirtle was part of the College World Series runner-up team in 2013 and led the Bulldogs in hitting the following year. He was taken in the 23rd round (700th overall) by the Tigers. Pirtle hit .287 with a home run and 12 RBIs in his second season in the minors last year.

Info: Austin Riley was part of the Bulldogs 2015 signing class but was drafted 41st overall by the Atlanta Braves in lottery round A. The Southaven native signed a $1.6 million contract and bypassed college. Riley hit .304 with 12 homers and 40 RBIs as a rookie last season.

Info: Walker Robbins was the 2016 Class 6A Player of the Year at George County after hitting .477 with three home runs and 16 RBIs. On the mound, Robbins posted a 8-2 record with a 0.67 ERA and threw two no-hitter and a perfect game. He signed with the Bulldogs but turned pro after the St. Louis Cardinals selected him in the fifth round (166th overall) with a $450,000 deal.

Info: Jacob Robson helped lead MSU to the College World Series finals in 2013 and also the SEC Championship in 2016. The Canadian hit .321 with six doubles, four triples, one home run and 24 RBIs and led the team with 16 steals as a redshirt junior this past spring. He was drafted in the eighth round (235th overall) by the Detroit Tigers and signed for $181,600.

Info: Cord Sandberg signed with Mississippi State as a four-star quarterback in 2013 and also planned to play for the Diamond Dogs. However, he opted to play pro baseball after being drafted by the Phillies in the third round (89th overall). Sandberg hit .255 with five homers and 59 RBI in his third season in the minors last year.

Info: Austin Sexton was a weekend starter for MSU and helped the Bulldogs win the 2016 SEC Championship. Sexton was 8-3 with a 3.56 ERA, 98 strikeouts and 25 walks in 101 innings as a junior this past spring. The St. Louis Cardinals selected him in the 18th round (556th overall).

Info: Vance “Moonlight” Tatum served as a starter and reliver for three seasons at MSU and helped the Bulldogs win the 2016 SEC Championship. Tatum had a 5.24 ERA in 17 relief appearances this past spring with 23 strikeouts and seven walks in 21.1 innings. The Olive Branch native was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 18th round (553rd overall).

Info: Chase Vallot signed with the Diamond Dogs in 2014 but opted to go pro after being selected with the 40th overall pick by the Royals. Vallot signed a $1.35 million contract and is a former Gatorade Player of the Year in Louisiana. He hit .219 with 13 homers and 40 RBI in his first full season in the minors last year.

Info: Paul Young arrived at MSU out of Central Alabama Community College and redshirted the 2014 season. He pitched in two games in 2015 and 10 games this past season sporting a 8.53 ERA with 10 strikeouts and nine walks in 6.1 innings. He pitched four innings for the Brewster Whitecaps in the Cape Cod League this summer but agreed to a free agent contract with the Royals and opted not to return to Starkville for his senior season.

Info: Delvin Zinn was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 28th round in 2015 but turned it down to play at MSU. He spent the following fall with the Diamond Dogs but decided to transfer to Itawamba Community College where he hit .411 with 34 RBIs as a freshman this past season. He was redrafted in the 23rd round (704th overall) by the Cubs and signed this time around.
