Jeffery looking for TDs, not just yards

UTEP running back Nathan Jeffery hopes to add touchdowns to all the yards he earned last week against Oklahoma when the Miners visit Ole Miss tonight at 6. Jeffery rushed for 177 yards and averaged 8.4 yards per carry against OU, but the Sooners kept him out of the end zone. He and his UTEP teammates could be a matchup problem on the ground for the Rebels, who gave up a lot of yards to Central Arkansas in the first half before playing better after halftime adjustments. Jeffery was named Conference USA Player of the Week.

  • IN the 1997 W Motor City Bowl Marshall 34-31 the Rebel defense shut down Randy Moss air attack, will they be able today shut down the running attack by Nathan Jeffery??
