UTEP at Ole Miss

Some of the early games are finishing up.

I suspect there’s a lot of inter-locking, swaying Aggies at Kyle Field right now as Texas A&M leads Florida 17-10.

What do you make of the Mississippi State-Auburn game? You knew State would be focused for this game, one they felt like they should have won the last two years and one they needed to win to shed the “haven’t beaten anybody from the West but Ole Miss” tag.

I thought State looked good, but I was surprised at how poorly Auburn looked. Some of that was because of State, not all of it. There are issues at quarterback at Auburn.

How bout that Penn State-Virginia game? Penn State loses by a point, misses a 42-yard field goal at time expires and goes 1-for-5 on field goals for the day.

The Ole Miss players are walking across the VHS turf right now. Kickoff is at 6, and the game will be televised on Fox Sports Net.

I’ll have updates on Twitter and will be back here at halftime and after the game.
