Pondering the SEC this morning while awaiting a call from a radio show from Austin, Texas and gearing up for Media Monday at Ole Miss later today. One man’s opinion on SEC rankings after two weeks. …

I look at it like this:

    1. Alabama
    2. LSU
    3. Georgia
    4. South Carolina
    5. Miss State
    6. Florida
    7. Texas A&M
    8. Vanderbilt
    9. Tennessee
    10. Ole Miss
    11. Missouri
    12. Arkansas
    14. Auburn

  • Too early to know this level of detail in my opinion. Here’s what I learned:
Auburn’s in desperate need of a Quarterback.
Alabama, though spuddered, is a superior team.
UGA, even without 4 defensive starters, has more depth than Mizzou on the road.
Florida and Tennessee will be interesting this weekend, since it is in Knoxville. Who knows what either of those teams really bring to the National landscape.
LSU was pissed off. But, it’s better to be pissed off than pissed on….ask Arkansas.
Mississippi State is either really good in pass defense, or SEE ABOVE.
Vanderbilt let the conference down, losing to Northwestern. I know they are a solid Big 10 team, but again, its a Big 10 team.
Bo Wallace is better prepared to play College Football than I thought. Our defense played better than I predicted on Saturday night, but still, as Mike Price said, “should be 21-21, but IT IS NOT!!!”
Hotty Toddy! Glad to be wrong!

  • I move Ole Miss up to #6 on this list just under the Gators, 5 SEC teams have lost –
