Another player has left the Penn State team, this one a backup kicker. That’s 13 off the roster, nine have transferred. Players are still eligible to transfer without sitting out a year after the current season. …

CBS columnist Bruce Feldman likes orange this weekend, says Tennessee passing game, Texas defense will lead Vols and Horns to wins. …

Tom Murphy of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette says the Razorbacks may be more prepared to defend Alabama than they were La.-Monroe. He admits it’s “crazy,” but the Hogs are better geared to stop the run. …
