SEC Power Rankings

My faith in Florida was justified by the Gators at Tennessee. Missouri moves ahead of Arkansas and fellow newcomer Texas A&M after a solid win against Arizona State. Ole Miss remains 11 because the Rebels put 31 points on a good defense, although they couldn’t stop the Texas offense. Vanderbilt’s loss to Northwestern doesn’t look as bad, since Northwestern beat Boston College and is now 3-0, but it’s hard to get too much of a read on Vanderbilt after a win over Presbyterian. I had Kentucky ahead of Auburn last week, but the Wildcats lost to the Sun Belt team at home while Auburn did not, though Auburn fans were on edge in overtime against the the Indian/Warhawks.

Rank Team Last Week
Alabama 1
LSU 2
Georgia 3
Florida 5
South Carolina 4
Tennessee 6
Mississippi State 7
Missouri 10
Texas A&M 8
Arkansas 9
Ole Miss 11
Auburn 13
Vanderbilt 14
Kentucky 12
