The game off the field

Ole Miss will be the underdog in Athens Saturday. That’s nothing new. What is new is the confidence the Rebels (5-3, 2-2 SEC) will carry with them into the underdog role.

The belief and excitement that comes from two-straight conference wins may or may not make the ultimate difference against a top 10 opponent on the road.

While the game is important for both teams, it’s important for other reasons for Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze. The game off the field, recruiting, is never far away.

  • I be pulling for a Rebel win over Georgia and a Gator win over Mizz, then that would give the Gator SEC East Championship and the right to meet the Tide SEC title game. That is if the Tide continues to win, of which I think they will. GO Rebels!!!!
