  • Thanks VaReb, us old solders and sailors never die we just fade away, and that’s just what some of this “new aged” Rebels fans would like to see, us just disappear from existence, but our spirits will linger on and on, as for the old Rebels of the past they will live on and on and their outstanding winning tradition will NEVER DIE. As some of them would like to erase the history books and rewrite them to their liking and thinking but it will never happen either It is etched in stone… that being said,,, to Rebel football….
The Rebel games that I have watched this season is impressive, it bring back the old time winning spirit of fight and being a winner and no quit, Coach Freeze and staff is to be commended for this, They keep those young players motivated as winners.
I must say it is a pleasure to see LSU as also ran in the SEC this season. AS it now stands the SEC Championship game will between Georgia Dawgs (Unless Auburn upset) and the Crimson Tide of Alabama. My feeling is that we will;l see the Rebels playing in a bowl game somewhere at end of season and not in the dog bone bowl with Miss State.

How does State stay above Ole Miss? They didnt play anyone for the first half of the season. We played Al and A&M a lot closer than they did.

Ghost, I considered flipping those two, but I didn’t feel good about elevating Ole Miss after the performance at Georgia. I have been critical of State’s schedule, but they do deserve credit for winning seven straight games. I don’t think there’s a great deal of difference between the two right now, and the Egg Bowl will be a toss-up.
